15 May 2008; TV3 has announced its GAA Line-up at Croke Park for Championship Season 2008. All live matches will be hosted by Matt Cooper and he will be joined in the studio by three expert panelists for each match. In addition to the live matches, TV3 will also broadcast a new Thursday prime time magazine show "Championship Throw-In", starting on May 29th. 7 May 2009; Peter Catterson, age 4, leads David Magee, age 5, out of the dressing rooms at the announcement by TV3 of details of their ten exclusive live GAA Championship matches for the forthcoming season in the 2009 GAA All-Ireland Football and Hurling Championships. In the second year of this significant contract, TV3 is the first independent broadcaster to show live All-Ireland Senior GAA Championship matches as part of its three-year deal. Opening with a classic Munster football clash on 7th June, TV3 cameras will be live in the Kingdom as Jack O'Connor returns as Kerry manager and they take on the winners of Cork and Waterford to battle it out in the provincial football semi final.
